In loving memory of Alec Guadalupe Carbine
Hebrews 12:11
“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it”.
Life always brings challenges before us to help make us strong. This philosophy, Alec followed in so many ways. Alec was strong in his faith in God. He valued family, how to treat others, a strong work ethic, and maybe most important, forgiveness.
The letters shared by his family, friends, colleagues, and those he touched through his acts of kindness and generosity show how Alec lived his life. This foundation honors Alec and his life, and will continue his legacy of lifting others.
“remarkably kind, humble, and patient”.
Alec was an amazing person and human being I met him more than a year ago, he chose me to be his Spanish teacher. We always had fun and learned from each other. I felt very happy everytime we had a class and he always understood my humor. He was one of the most intelligent students I've had and when I think about him there are only good things in my mind. I wish I could have said goodbye to such an amazing friend but, if God allows it I will talk to him when we reunite after this life. May God be with him.
I got to know Alec while he was in grade school and junior high and watched him excel in sports, all while being a respectful and caring young man. We send our deepest sympathies to Alec and the entire Carbine family. Great guy, great family. We are devastated at your loss and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Alec's impact on our team and clients was significant. I saw Alec around the end of August. We were discussing REDW's strategies and a visiting firm we are considering acquiring to expand our geographic footprint. Alex listened intently and then asked a thoughtful and helpful "at just the right moment question". Alec had an impact on me and others that lives on. I will remember Savannah's request, "hold our loved ones close” and Alec's "learn forgiveness and let it go". God's Peace.

It is difficult to send former students to Heaven, those so very young with great promise, like Alec Carbine. Many leave their mark on their teachers. Alec was
one of them, remarkably kind, humble, and patient. These are signs of his Christian faith that have now most assuredly brought him to Heaven.
Our mom/ Nana Grace was Alec, Alexis & Anali's Nana. Our mom took care of Alec since he was a baby till around 6 years. The Carbine family have a special place in our hearts, they were always kind & generous with our mom & family. Alec, his sisters & their mom were very humble to come home at my moms last days upon this earth.
All of our love to Andrea, Alden, Alexis & Anali. Our mother had beautiful memories of all of you, may God give you the love & comfort to endure such great sorrow.
Grace Andrade & family
God bless you💔
Alec was kind enough to accompany me to some places in Greece. The downtown plaza in Athens for one. Lexi and I enjoyed an American meal. Alec devoured his. Chicken wings and French fries. Walking through the town square we met a musician from South Africa. Alec prayed with him. Alec enjoyed Mykonos Beach. Loud music. Bright lights by the ocean. His adventure. Keep searching Alec, for your heavenly one. Love, Aunt Patty
Our son, Tanner, and Alec have been very close friends since Brophy. We have many fond memories of their fun times together: sleepovers, parties, trips to Rocky Point, being at U of A together. Tanner moved away after college, but when he comes home to visit, they always made plans to grab a bite to eat and catch up. Alec was the kindest and sincerest friend and always such a gentleman. Please accept our deepest condolences.
